The Mad Firkin Beer Festival

The Mad Firkin Fest is a one-of-a-kind fundraiser featuring 15 rockin’ breweries in support of the Bale Grist Mill and the Napa Valley State Parks Association.

On August 3rd from 1 to 5 pm Mad Fritz Brewing Company will host the inaugural Mad Firkin Festival at the Bale Grist Mill and Bothe State Park.

There will be up to 15 small family owned breweries offering a variety of styles of ale and lagers from bottles, kegs and Firkins (5 to 10 gallon casks naturally carbonated and hand tapped). We will be offering small bites from various Napa Valley restaurateurs as well as music by some great local talent.

The 1 mile ‘Hike In’ Option AKA “History Hike” from Bothe Park Is a great way to get thirsty as well as clearing your mind! We like to call it the “Firkin Hike Option” !
